CMC Steel Texas is the only steel mill in the country that owns and operates an in-house trucking fleet. Traveling approximately 6 million miles per year, our drivers deliver products directly to customer job sites, or warehouses, and backhaul scrap metal and supplies to Seguin. The combination of using outside carriers, customer supplied trucks, rail, and the control of our own fleet, results in the best delivery service in the industry. CMC Steel Texas trucks operate at close to 90 percent loaded miles. Garage personnel maintain all motor equipment – trucks, trailers, forklifts, hydraulic equipment, cranes and trackmobiles. On duty around the clock, they keep the trucks operating, and the steel moving.
