Position Overview

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk to support our recycling yard in Lexington, SC! The Warehouse Receiving Clerk verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepares material for shipment by following duties to quality and productivity standards. This position will also support the Maintenance team with SAP data entry and other duties as necessary. This is an hourly position that may require overtime to accommodate business needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Offloading and purchasing of material
  • Loading outbound shipments
  • Scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Verifies quality meets our standards
  • All other duties as assigned
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and possess organizational skills
  • Must be a team-player and willing to work overtime to support the team
  • Attention and accuracy of work, quantity and quality of work, follow through, follow instructions
  • Strong safety ethic
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred
