Ecommerce Analyst (5840)

Position Overview

The Ecommerce Analyst collaborates with Sales, customers, and IT to assist in the execution of Commercial Metals’ digital strategy. Utilizing technology, our goal is to create an exceptional customer service experience and value for our business partners. This is a well-rounded position that requires business savvy and technical ability.

This person must be an excellent communicator to help marry business requirements with technical solutions. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of the basic order-to-cash process, particularly the sales and fulfillment areas.

The candidate would apply knowledge of these components to help create impactful solutions. Being detail oriented and arriving with knowledge of SAP is a plus. This person will be actively involved in activities around Sales and Ecommerce support, maintenance, development collaboration.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• myCMC customer portal order routing and monitoring
• Customer communications and assistance
• Trading partner onboarding and maintenance
• Customer Interface development and testing
• Use of SAP ERP to execute sales and technical processes
• SAP IDoc issue identification and resolution
• Analyze, document, test, and support Ecommerce solutions

Experience and Skill Requirements

Required Knowledge and Abilities:

• Understanding of sales and Ecommerce
• SAP SD and/or IDoc experience
• General analytics, mathematics skills
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to drive results
• Must understand and practice continuous quality improvement
• Must be able to make accurate and timely decisions
• Must be an excellent communicator and a promoter of company and department goals

Required Office Skills:

• PC user fundamentals (MS Windows)
• Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced skills)
      o Word
      o Excel
      o Outlook
      o PowerPoint
      o Sharepoint

Required Interpersonal Skills:

• Communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
• Drive and commitment (high energy level to get it done right the first time)
• Self-accountability
• Promotes teamwork environment
• Self-Starter - Initiates search for new ideas

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in SAP, Sales, Order Management, or related 
• SAP experience preferred

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree or comparable experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
