Inside Sales Representative (5304)

Position Overview

Work across the organization to deliver customer satisfaction. From the point of order entry through invoicing, the Inside Sales Representative touches the order many times. The Inside Sales Representative will work in conjunction with the customer, sales, operations, supply, quality, and finance. This is an hourly position with a variable work schedule of Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00AM – 5PM, some Saturdays and overtime can be expected to accommodate business needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Telephone and face to face contact with customers
  • Computer entry sales orders and price/job quoting
  • Maintain showroom display of products, keeping track of showroom inventory and replenishing stock
  • Attend sales meetings, training and activities
  • In depth product and customer knowledge
  • Track open sales orders and process tickets to billing department
  • Maintain cash drawer and process cash report
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task in fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Decision making and problem resolution skills
  • Honesty, ethical, dedicated, dependable and approachable
  • Team player and have the ability to meet assigned tasks
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • 3 - 5 years in Sales preferred
  • English-Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Knowledge of construction related products a plus 
Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
