Position Overview

Maintain and manage all aspects of inventory using the appropriate company systems and procedures. Assist in other job functions within the Shop and office, to include but not limited to, Shipping and Receiving. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Review various reports to enter, move, change or release material in company database
• Assist with various office duties for multiple departments (Fed Ex, Mail, Scanning, printing, copying)
• Work in and out of the shop in a safe manner to keep accurate cycle count
• Assist Safety Department with various administrative duties
• Coordinate various tasks with the maintenance department (ordering of parts, DOT, record keeping)
• Assist in month end inventory
• Review signed bill of lading documents to ensure loads have shipped and or received
• Receive shipments and process receiving paperwork in the system
• Track all outside orders from other facilities
• Receive all incoming loads for inventory in SAP
• Remove bar used daily in SAP System
• Count portions of inventory daily
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned and requirements may vary from time to time

 

Experience and Skill Requirements


• 2 years experience with inventory control - preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Excellent customer service
• Proficient in MS Suite and Outlook
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to successfully multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
• Prioritize and manage time successfully
• Thorough, meticulous, detail orientated nature
• Well organized
• SAP user preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a must
• Valid Driver's License

Education Requirements

High School Diploma
