Position Overview

Commercial Metals Company is currently seeking an Office Sales Clerk to support our CRP location in Tulsa, Oklahoma! The Office Sales Clerk will support the initiative of providing strong customer service in a timely, professional and courteous manner. This position will support the facility by executing general clerical duties, which include providing customer’s feedback, data entry in the computer, answering phone calls and emails, filing and scanning documents. This individual will also be assisting our Inside Sales team with additional responsibilities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform basic office duties including answering and directing phone calls, sorting mail and calling for mail pick-up, copying, faxing, and filing 
  • Communicate with customers by providing feedback and addressing any issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and organizational documents 
  • Comply with local safety procedures and regulations at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in similar office environment preferred
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, etc.
  • Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to execute the essential functions and responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally with customers, employees, and business leaders
  • Ability to constantly perform repetitive motions including finger movement, twisting or pressure involving the wrists/hands
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time and Lift up to 25 pounds




Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
