Outside Sales Representative - Construction Products (5303)

Position Overview

Commercial Metals Company is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to service existing accounts and build accounts with new customers in the markets served by our Round Rock, TX CRP facility. This representative will be responsible for earning customer trust and loyalty and negotiating sales closure by staying in touch with our customer's needs and earning the position of "preferred supplier". This position works Monday- Friday on an 8-hour shift.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships – earning their trust and preference by meeting their needs.
  • Establish and meet business plan targets for Hours, Volume and Margin bookings.
  • Face time with customers – visiting customers as needed to stay in touch with their needs and bid opportunities.
  • Get customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
  • Collaborate deliver Gross Margin that exceeds the business plan.
  • Earn customer loyalty.
  • Select the bid opportunities that enable us to deliver value to our customers.
  • Accurate cost estimates, resulting in projects that projects that operate on the budget established in the estimate.
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • 3-5 years sales experience required
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Makes timely and sound decisions; uses resources wisely
  • Knowledge of Construction-related products is a plus
Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BS or BA in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred
