Rental Inside Sales Representative (5597)

Position Overview

Commercial Metals Company is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to interact with new and existing customers to increase sales of products. This person will primarily interact with customers by face to face contact or utilize the phone and other forms of electronic communication. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to learn more about the Construction industry, as well as the chance to become a more well-rounded, seasoned, sales professional.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Telephone and face-to-face contact with customers.
  • Computer entry of sales orders and price or job quoting; to include order entry assistance for the Outside Sales Personnel and Customers. 
  • Attend sales meetings, training, and activities to provide In-depth product and customer knowledge.
  • Track open sales orders and process tickets to billing department.
  • Complete product research.
  • Create customer accounts while working with the CAM team.
  • Schedule returns with outside carriers from customer job sites.
  • Estimate projects when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years’ sales experience.
  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Should be honest, ethical, dedicated, dependable and approachable while being a team payer and meeting assigned task. 
  • Good organizational and time management skills; to include decision making and problem resolution.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of Construction industry is a plus.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED/educational equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
